This beautiful little squirrel glider has a second chance at life with our great Wires volunteers who will feed him round the clock till he recovers from injuries sustained by a cat. We are very lucky that our motel in Urunga is the meeting place where volunteers hand over injured animals

It was great to have Christine Stewart staying here while she was teaching a 5 day course on Mosaic with Fused Art Glass. I was lucky enough to get a look at the participant’s work at the Urunga Hall. It was a great set up with Christine’s mini kilns set up around the walls and lots of space and light for everyone. For our guest Charlene who asked how we made our perfect poached eggs. The perfect poached egg starts with a happy chook . Meet Dora the explorer. Then using a small bowl crack the egg so that you can see the 2 different kinds of egg white. I use a small electric skillet to boil a couple of inches of water. As soon as it is boiling I add vinegar and turn the frypan off. Gently, gently transfer the egg from the bowl to the water. Cover with a glass lid and wait patiently.
