Perfect poached egg
For our guest Charlene who asked how we made our perfect poached eggs. The perfect poached egg starts with a happy chook . Meet Dora the explorer. Then using a small bowl crack the egg so that you can see the 2 different kinds of egg white.
I use a small electric skillet to boil a couple of inches of water. As soon as it is boiling I add vinegar and turn the frypan off. Gently, gently transfer the egg from the bowl to the water. Cover with a glass lid and wait patiently.
This is a slow cooked egg which gives you that yummy texture.
